@alternatehistories I agree with what you're saying, but for some reason when I read it it reminds me of Malcolm McDowell from ClockWork Orange. The scene when he's strapped to the chair with the head piece on clamping his eyelids open and they're showing him all these nazis scenes with Ode to Joy in the background. Valid point you make though, none the less

I remember Leopold Stokowski from ''Fantasia'' of Walt Disney (1940)! A great conductor!

@vitaminB100 I greatly enjoy listening to this acting out revenge.

@antoniogarciaflorida He may have had a lot of early success but his tactical mistakes and disregard for Napoleons own failures shows that in the end he was not as intelligent as he may have seemed.

Ugh. I'm so sick of seeing Hitler's name mentioned wherever Wagner's music is discussed. Wagner knew nothing about what would transpire in the next century. Hitler was a master at distorting historical fact to support HIS present fiction. He took many things and twisted them to support his philosophy...that which he could not use...or that which contradicted Nazi beliefs was simply swept under the carpet. Stop the Hitler crap please.
