im a theatrical sword fighter we dont make body contact and we were no armour we go about 10x as fast as this and and use bigger swords

I've just get used to thing that non-european re-enactment groups do not care about historicy of their clothes and fighting equipment. American SCA for example. And they tell that they recreate medieval and renaissance period...

It's held by a museum run in what used to be an abbey. It's great fun, and very accurate :)
