  • I downloaded it, and it looks great to me.

  • Trash the search field, we can open it when we rarely need it!

    Full screen, no dialogues mode,

Floating or tear-off menus and chat boxes, that we can re-size to fir 4;3 or widescreen monitors as required.

Greenstreet viewer has most of these features, so it is physically possible!

Anyone ever thought of asking the punters what they would like to see in these official viewers?

  • Turn off the search box, get the network meters back. Don't need a search field there anyway. Open up search when you're searching.

  • Agreed. I've seen a preview of that "address bar" thing before. The existing search field in the menu bar steals no useful space, but having a full width address bar would eat a few thousand pixels that I have better use for. If they put this in I hope they keep the old narrow search field as an option. Second Life is not a web browser and I'd rather it didn't look like one.

  • Looks awful.
