ive hacked an iac (internet access company) kiosk running ubuntu 8.04... its pretty straight forward to get into ubuntu by various methods :) these are used in backpackers, information centers all over the country and use a userid, coin or loaded card access. Its easy enough to access google and read the text from any page by opening the "Free - IAC location map & support" page on the home screen, this opens up a "limited version" of firefox. Then you goto the "view" menu, then "toolbars"...

lol, I remember when I got access to a Gas Station Kiosk with "Pay Internet" on it. All I had to do was use Ctrl + Alt + Del, terminate some of the processes that prevent other applications from starting then loaded IE using the run command and I was able to browse the Internet for free. Unfortunately, they took the kiosk away about a month later and replace it with a ATM machine. xD

did you try playing any videos while you were on YouTube?

I know how >:)
I'm in the library now...
First you go to your hosting site, and you choose 'Upload File'... When you're in, go to the local disk, delete the whole SiteKiosk shit, click 'Log off' and you're in :)

Good job. :) Once you get that puppy going for free, head over to ikat for some extra fun.
Yes well I told the man who replaced the Kiosk and he seemed to understand and see the need of it to be fixed.
Maybe thats you who I told, I don't know lol.
Well anyway, happy to be of service.
