I have a cousin who lives in New Jersey, and she says in NJ there are laws against bullying. Kids have been thrown in juvie for the following
1. Friendly joking around at lunch " you're so stupid sometimes " etc.
2. Accidentally bumping into kids in the hallway
3. Touching another student in class
Bullying is terrible, but it can't be illegal. There is nothing schools can do to stop bullying!

harassing and assaulting someone (that's what bullying is) isn't serious and shouldn't be punished now? yeah if she hadn't killed herself they probably wouldn't have been charged with anything, but they SHOULD have been, every bully should be. why is harassment and assault criminal when adults do it but when kids do it to each other it's just "kids being kids" and just part of life of and part of growing up? honestly what the fuck

oh and by the way, you guys took the stance that a punishment should be served by the man who got off to watching others commit suicide (in another of your episodes), so to be consistent you would have to concede that this would be grounds for manslaughter.
