Network Q Rally

A look at an old DOS game from 1997. This game was absolutely brilliant when it was released and for the time it's still a great game. It has be used in DOSBox because I'm running Vista x64 so 16-bit Applications are not compatible.

Classic game that I first played in late 1997 I think (mate bought it from Costco in Leeds) and one that has many qualities that are lacking from the modern day race games. The music in this one was pretty good too, i.e. varied and catchy and just right for the game atmosphere. I later got this for myself in 2000 and it even played perfectly on a crappy old Cyrix 166 Socket 7 PC 1998 vintage. Despite the eye candy and complex physics of todays games, I still love to play this sometimes. :-)

Errm you set all the audio to full blast and then complain how loud it is! DOH! :D

How did you get the sound to play? I install it but the sound has this constant 'popping', and there's no music at all.

Play the cd-rom in your car's cd player and drive it. Amazing experience :')
