CrossFit can change how a woman both defines beauty and feels about her body, as Rita Benavidez, Jackie Perez, Erin Cianciolo and Andrea Ager discuss in this video.
Once thinking beauty was a picture of a waify woman on a magazine, Benavidez feels differently now. "My perception of beauty has changed over the past few years," Benavidez says. "True beauty ... is strength and fitness, and confidence in yourself."
Perez was originally motivated by trying to be skinny. "That wasn't getting me anywhere," she says. "With CrossFit, I set goals. I want to deadlift 225, I'm going to hit that faster than I'm going to look in the mirror and like what I see."
Ager says putting in the work is key to getting what you want. "I think that hard work and the way that your body looks go so hand-in-hand," she says. "Once you do get a body that you want, you're very proud of it ... you're proud of what your body can do."
Through CrossFit, these women are confident, stronger and fitter. They are mothers, tomboys, coaches. They are CrossFit athletes.

I'm only 14 and been Cross-fitting seriously for 5 months. As a teen, CrossFit has completely changed my perspective on life. All young teens, especially girls should do CrossFit. It teaches you that the first person to finish and the last are equal in all aspects of respect and work load. It boosts confidence and gives you a new and better perspective on life you never had before. Girls need to stop worrying about bulk. I dead lift 245 and clean and jerk 125, and I promise I'm not bulky at all

I like that you're defending the video but dude, muscle isn't light. Best keep weight out of your argument because A LOT of strong women who strength train are easily 140+. It's not about weight, it's about strength.

I happen to find these women strong and beautiful. Of course, I do not, and have never held to the pathetic belief that a woman should be weak, either physically or emotionally. Given the modern propensity towards being overweight, under challenged, and weak in general, Cross-fitters stand out as people (men women, young old) that have stated emphatically, that they will be fit, strong and dedicated. No trophy for JUST SHOWING UP! Great Job ladies!! Stay strong, fit and beautiful!

So... Level B MMA fighters are reputable athletes who use crossfit for his/her training? No disrespect, if you don't like crossfit, that's your right. However, a person is made reputable by other people, journalism and media.
