Damn! Is it THAT hard to impress you all? Hello! Do any of you have any idea how hard it was to make this game? These people that made the endings were doing their best. They might've wanted to try something different. They probably thought everyone will be more impressed if the endings were animated or they were afraid everyone will be bored to death if they made the endings like Deception. Just shut the hell up and enjoy the video. I'm still going to buy this game no matter what :p

@headhunter7766 The canon ending is Taven's. In Taven's ending, the powers of all combatants increased. So a bloodbath ensued.
Eventually only 2 men were left standing, Shao Kahn & Raiden. Raiden's power "increase" was dulled by the fact that he was in the foreign realm of Edenia (Raiden's powers are stronger in Earthrealm); therefore Shao Kahn overpowered him.
Raiden's ending is not canon, it is Taven who won Armageddon and caused the events leading up to MK9.

@headhunter7766 Raiden wouldn't have Great Power if he isn't the MK5 Tournament Champion... Just like Fujin wouldn't of turned into a "storm of Justice" if he didn't win the tournament...
