  • Who is the director of music? I often see the GGFG band march past the National War Memorial during the CBC's national broadcast of the Remembrance Day services and the band's presence never fails to stir me. I am an ex-musician (R871) and this performance renews some pleasant, old memories of concerts and parades gone by.

  • @861Sailor The Director of Music is LCol Fran Chilton-MacKay.

  • What a moving, wonderful performance! The bass trombone player looks like an old, departed friend of mine from years ago, MCpl Dave Gunderson, CD, of the GGFG Band (b. 1946 - d.1989). Is this venue Cartier Square?

  • @861Sailor, Yes it is Cartier Square Drill Hall.
