nice pictures. Here in Norway I have to call Ambulances almost daily because someone slipped from the road.
here in norway Ambulances almost never use their siren (ok they got many warning lights and here in Lofoten/Vesterraalen is not one road crossing with trafficlights

Why the horns not facing forward?
They project farther ahead when facing forward.
Also, blue lights would be more effective if higher on the front of the fire apparatus.
(closer to the bottom of the windshield)

Yes, the doors face up to protect from rain.
The horns are facing down so they dont get clogged with snow during the winter.
And belive me, you can still hear the truck from atleast half a mile when it's in the city. Atleast 1-2 mileas a way if you're in the country.
The LED's are in the right hight for flashing into cars, any higher and they wouldnt light into a cars rear windshield.

If you watch my video responces you will hear them. Unfourtunettly my videos of the fire trucks were deleted from my computer so i only have videos of ambulances, but they both sound the same. But you can search for "brandbil" if you want to see them in action.
