Why do you guys get so bent out of shape when a modded car is faster than a stock car? It's not like the guys in the M5 tried to hide the fact that they're modified. If they claimed to be stock only to find out later that it was secretly modded then maybe it's a cause for flaming. Otherwise, what you just saw was a modded E39 M5 beat a stock B7 RS4. So...deal.

It looked pretty even to me at least the second run when it was at the same time. It's funny how the editor wrote Audi doesn't stand a chance when it was a good race . Would love to see what would happen I the rs4 was modded :)

@andree247 If you read my comment correctly I did not say anything negative about BMW or Audi. I just stated that it was stupid for people to get so defensive when you're racing a modded car vs a stock car. I don't own a BMW or an Audi. Both are beneath me...

@beasona9 Ok the rs4 and M5 are bothv8's. They are in the same price bracket new. The rs4 has 25 more hp than the M5 in stock form, So the M5 has exhaust and gave him 29 extra hp what an extra 3hp over the Rs4 big deal. Did you see where the compared race the Audi started in front with the M5 about 3 cars behind and the Audi seamed to have had the jump, and the M5 walked right up to the Audi+.

The Rs6 you say No problem M5 + ESS :) psi = psi ;)

Ok mod the Rs4 then finish mod the M5 now what?

@shwrwx6f ? is does Audi think they really have a chance against BMW? Don't for get Bmw can turn up boost now also so what do you have to say? Bmw held down audi Na for years on top of years so now what you want to compare turbo to turbo... let the games begin :)

put that same m5 against a 2003 rs6 and see if it does not get scrapped , the people in this video basically out class class the rs4 with an m5 . . .

they should be ashamed that the smaller rs4 with out mods put up such a fight. . .

here is an idea race a rs4 with mods . . .then talk . . .lol i forgot m5board never plays fair . . .
