In 2005 I visited Mount Cook and had a scenic flight with Air Safaris out of Lake Tekapo. The song "Both Sides Now" by New Zealand's own songbird Hayley Westenra is a fitting tribute to Joni Mitchell, and to the beauty of the scenes over Mt Cook area.
