This is video footage of the site, taken at the beginning of the PDC course. Some of this footage was incorporated into our presentation at the end of the course.

This is the flat that Soph was renting. It consists mainly of a front carport, off the communal driveway, and a stretch of soil in the back. The entire area is about 40 square metres, and not all of that will be occupied. There were two main themes here: the incredibly small scale of the site, and the ability to make only temporary (or "demountable") modifications to a rental property.

"Weaving An Orb - an experiment in small-scale demountable permaculture"

This project was undertaken by Tina Bolto, Sophia Macrae and Aaron Nielsen in January/February 2009, in conjunction with the Permaculture Design Certificate course held at The Food Forest in Gawler, South Australia.
