He did say HIMSELF he came not to bring peace but a sword, He came to bring the sword, but He does also bring peace. However He does bring peace even in the midst of a battle. You can be in iraq with bullets wizzing by your head and still feel Gods peace and calmness in your heart that DOES pass all logic and understanding. Example 2 of His peace, a love one has died.. Does it hurt? But CHRIST again is your peace&hope. Your faith that you will see them again. Peace again in the midst of a sword.

Derkatron521, Paul writes in many scriptures to the churches, "Grace to you and peace from God..." Also Phillipians 4:7 talks about the peace of God that passes all understanding. Ephesians 6:15, putting on the armour of God with the shoes of the gospel of peace...
There are times of war AND times of peace. We must pray for the peace of God like Paul prayed for the churches in his time. So I pray that God's grace and peace be with you. Now maybe you can enjoy this song more :)
