Arma 2 Huge Battle 1000 AI

Something about arma is just so amazing. The fact that every noise you hear, every bullet you see, every man you shoot at, every aircraft that flies past, is completely real, unscripted, and dynamic. Thats why everything is just so realistic, you dont need to script a large scale war.

This video just shows the pure beauty and scale of arma 2, the way the ai dynamically engages in battle, both on ground and in air. Enjoy the scenery of armas world at night time. It feels like world war 3!

I am running on all medium/high settings. I have found that once you have so many AI over such a huge area, it is not really your graphics card that needs to do some extra work, its the CPU that gets severely bottlenecked.

This is not campaign footage, it's missions made from the editor by myself.

This is NOT the demo. I have owned the game since it was released in germany 2 weeks before everyone else.

@marinesoul1009 When you are placing the aircraft there is a menu to the left that says 'in formation' open it and click on "flying." This makes it spawn in the air.

dude how did you get enemy airplanes in air when i create them there on ground and wont fly some will but no jets and how do i make them crash i want 1000 aircrafts to crash into eachother that= awsome

Soud and explosion is a fucking 2001 sound even GTA 3 beat the shit out of arma sound

Arma is terrible at sound/movement quality so never underestimated any games.

Still Arma is very strategic and based on more teamwork than any other game

aww. this is such a cool looking game. (not the graphics) but the movement the sounds. the explosions. all very immersive, DICE should buy there code for the movement and implement it into BF3. (for PC)
