Sorry Jesse, but all I did was to present THE TIMES's work, which I think is exceptional (ever seen before/after pictures so perfectly adjusted ?). Praise or blame should go to them, not to me...

Really nicely done. You guys do realize the poster here - 'Kosinski' - is pretty much the greatest filmmaker to ever grace the medium, right? Just fyi...and he just turned 90 recently.

@Kosinki Well, this is beyond just mere presentation--there is a selection process, an organizing of material chosen by you, framed and edited to form a NEW document, set to music chosen by you, not THE TIMES, so it becomes your own piece of course, but one that fails to convey the aftermath of what occurred in London.

@Kosinki they must have used a superimpose function which must be present in newer cameras, the before after pics are indeed perfectly matched. I wonder if there is an android app that can do this - i.e. keep 50% opacity of the camera viewfinder on the screen and 50% opacity for an existing image to match

Ce pourrait être la violence anonyme du temps sur les choses, qui suppose d'ailleurs toujours ceux qui les ont abandonnées, cette violence qui précède un "vandalisme" des ruines qui n'en est que la suite logique ; celle des usines fermées du jour au lendemain, des maisons expropriées pour cause d'utilité publique ou de simple rapacité , des quartiers qu'on sacrifie à l'avancée de l'hiver économique comme on abandonnait autrefois les villes aux armées d'invasion.
