Q-bert especially likes to bullshit people, e.g. he claimed his move to Hawaii was happening so he could be trained by some secret "Grandmaster" who lived there. Also, he claimed Yoga Frog had invented some amazing new scratch called the "Turbo scratch", which they never showed to anyone.

@RascalRecords 1990? Mike and Apollo were doing it in the mid-'80s. Also, Jazzy Jay and Afrika Islam were doing 2-man routines before that, and Ramellzee was part of a huge crew who apparently used 12 turntables!
