Traditional media outlets suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Online journalism, on the other hand, has a case of obsessive-compulsive disorder. So says Arianna Huffington, editor-in-chief and co-founder of the news website The Huffington Post. She sees a media landscape where self-expression has replaced entertainment and where readers want to be part of the news stories themselves, rather than simply read about them.

  • Arianna Huffington has mentioned obsessive-compulsive disorder in a few of her interviews. Perhaps her compulsive need for control has led her to delete many of her critics’ posts in the forums of her website, “The Huffy Don’t Post.” People who believe in themselves and their arguments don’t censor their adversaries. People with genuine strength and conviction debate their challengers openly and defeat their opponents with facts and superior logic. Please see my YouTube channel (Xarkonul).

  • Great videos! Thanks for these.

I think Arianna's hits the nail on the head when she says, "Anyone who tries to completely predict the future is going to miss by a very wide margin."

  • I really like these ''Shaping ideas'' videos... they are full of inspiration
