Riding the nice, new elevator at the Hyde Park Surgery Center & University Federal Credit Union in Austin, Texas.

  • Yes, those are Traditional style Signa4 fixtures.

  • Signa4 fixtures look like the Aurora fixtures with the blue LED, and these are just called Traditional fixtures.

  • That's correct, because of the white bulb.

  • They used the old style Traditional fixtures.

  • Because they installed a surgery center in the building, and wanted to give the building a new, bright look.

  • It was originally installed in 1982.

  • But I wonder why gluse called them Traditional Signa4 when he rode those new traction elevators.

    Aren't those new elevators MRL or conventional traction?
