Foreclosure Auction at the San Diego Courthouse Steps on June 15, 2011. This video gives you an idea of what to expect if you want to buy a property at a foreclosure auction. The auctions are Monday-Friday at 10:00 AM. The process usually begins with the announcement of the postponements of sales due to bankruptcy, short sale or the lender's request. The auctioneer will verify you have the cash or certified checks to purchase the property. All sales are AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranty to condition, location or if it is vacant or occupied. Many properties are auctioned at what is owed on the loan. These are homes the bank is going to take back. But the bidding begins low on some properties and these are the ones that get the interest from the bidders as you will see in the video. Happy Bidding!!
