  • We've seen the results of how money influences politics with Wall Street and BP oil spill. Big money gets rid of or stops regulation that is designed to prevent crisis whether fiscal or otherwise. Big money is responsible for California's mess. Voters are fed up. The proven solution is publicly financed campaigns or a fair elections system. In states that have them, taxpayers save money. Think of all the corporate tax loopholes that will close when Big Money doesn't win the day.

  • A YES on Prop 15 sets up a pilot program which only affects the Secretary of State race in 2014 and 2018. It is paid for increasing fees on lobbyists. It give qualifying candidates who accept strict spending limits campaign financing. It's anonymous lobbyist financed elections ! Yet lobbyists of small non-profits support Prop 15!

Prop 15 is endorsed by the League of Women Voters, AARP, Consumer Fed of Calif, the Calif Labor Fed, and nearly 400 other orgs and leaders.

  • "You either have to be rich or have the backing of big labor or big business to really make a run for office in this state, and that's what the supporters of Proposition 15 are hoping to change." - John Gregory, ABC News

"When politicians have to run their campaigns on money from special interest donors that want something in return, the public, the taxpayers, pay the price." - Trent Lange, President of the Yes on Prop 15 Campaign

Prop 15 gives Californians a way to break the gridlock.
