This tutorial covers creating a RAID1 Array DiskPart command line tool. This is useful because it allows you to script drive and volume manipulation. This can be a lifesaver for sysadmins. Recommended for all windows system administrators, and those studying for MCSE.

its just amazing trust me gr8 vedio however can anyone tell me why he created a simple volume is it mandatory or cant we directly add disk2

and what was the command used for formating the mirror volume

    thanks a lot ...

  • Good for the test, but use Hardware RAID if in a networked environment or if you need high CPU utilization. Software RAID = too much overhead. And now we're on the dawn of SANs (getting much cheaper). 10 years from now no-one will ever need this.

  • hard to see - but still - keep up good work

  • Great vid. Keep them coming.
