A 3 min montage blended to the background score of - "Fanfare for the common man" 1942, composed by Aaron Copland.

Reenacted by the Philippine Scouts Living History Company, Lt Alexander Nininger LA chapter,
to continue the legacy of the greatest generation, the Philippine Scout Veterans of the PSHS.

My vision was to give an idea of a forgotten epic event of WWII that began in the pacific as the first US and Philippine ground battle, the battle of Bataan. It was, the greatest delaying action and seige of WWII were Filipino and American soldiers sacrificed their lives for America to prepare to win the war.

  • Filipino youths of today have no idea about the heroeism and the sacrifice of the Filipino scouts of WWII.

  • Keep up the good work, keep the memory alive of a great set of units that are a testiment to both U.S. & Philippine military history.

Are there oppertunities here in the San Diego area?

My wife's grandfather was a new scout.
