This is The merry blacksmith, an easy irish reel played on my crapy mandoline! For this one, I played it like a jig in 6/8. I have another version played in 4/4. I'm a total beginner and self learner on the mandoline, like most of the instruments I play anyway!

  • I think you play great! What brand mandolin is that? It looks like my Lotus. My newphew gave it to me when he switched permanently to guitar and I'm just starting out on the mandolin.
