I always think I'm doing alright at studying Japanese, then I hear a native speaker speaking normally and I'm like "fml. I'm never going to be able to understand all that..."

Glad I subscribed. I feel bad because I made best friends with my Japanese teacher, but at the same time I failed her class because I had to work at lot. LOL But we mostly speak English, as I would feel funny to continue having her teach me, seeing as I failed. So I learn from you and use with her. LOL

I couldn't hear her parents ): Kansai is definitely different than the way I've grown up with, but my family is from Tokyo and Nagoya so that would make sense
