Years ago a neighbor rode a gas powered bike. It's style was just a regular man's bicycle with the larger seat. He usually pedalled most of the way to work as it was a low grade dowhill run. I don't know how he started it but the bike was already moving when he did. He'd turn the motor off and on as needed. His gas tank was behind the seat over the back fender and my guess was that it held a quart. I've often wished I had a bike like that. I do remember it wasn't particularly noisy.
