yea there is and agreement between all the companys and dodges got a contract for cummins and ford got power stroke. i love the looks of fords but not f-150. i agree an f-350 duelly with a cummins 24 valve turbo diesel.....hell yea
-
i dont know about you but the 7.3l powerstroke is the most reliable engine that has evewr been made and that is a fact
The reason is because the engine design is extremely simple lol and thats a fact not an opinion!!!
-
No Im not saying the 7.3 is a bad engine. The 7.3 was as good if not better than the Cummins ( I know of one 7.3 thats done over 200000 with no attention other than oil changes / servicing ). When I said Powerstroke engines I was meaning the new unreliable ones ( 6.0 ) I should have said so. Its a shame they couldnt stay with the 7.3. I believe theyve solved the problems now with the new engines but the mpg is real bad due to the emmision regulations ?

@bigwoolleypenguin so your sayin a 7.3 is a bad engine get ur facts straight kid
-
nope fords building an inhouse diesel somewhere around 400 hp and 700 ftlbs. and why take cummins away from dodge when fords making money off dodge and there own trucks instead of just making money off there own
still strokin always is first b4 cummin
