This song might not be about fathers and daughters but I can also relate with those who have memories singing along with Daddy!! I miss cruising and listing to oldies with my Daddy.. for some of us all we have are memories!!! So for the technical ppl the meaning nd lyrics are what you make of it!! This song really makes me miss my dad..he always had fights with my mom when I was a little kid, and she would forgive him..but one day I woke up to find my mom in jail...and my dad...in the hospital, he didnt make it...so now my moms still in jail...so both my parents are gone..
