This lecture, titled "Creek Indian Medicine, Past and Present: The Application of Traditional Cultural Knowledge in Today's World," by Robert Thrower, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer/Traditional Practitioner, Poarch Band of Creek Indians, was held on March 20, 2014 at 12:00 pm. The objective of the Reynolds Historical Lecture Series is to review, assess, and discuss various historical aspects of the health care sciences. Lectures are hosted by the Reynolds Associates and the Historical Collections of Lister Hill Library of the Health Sciences, University of Alabama at Birmingham.
