I purchased one of the original NT-1 mics in 1999 and have used it on mostly pianos, chamber ensembles and so forth, but it is a killer mic. I remember that one of the studio mags rated this mic extremely high, even comparing it to a neumann at one point...

@TheINegotiatorI Well... I haven't had any experience with the other 2 mics. I used the NT1-A as my main mic for 2 years (I was mainly into DI recording... which I hate now!!) so I can say that the NT1-A is a great Mic. You may find that it can't really take really High SPL's that well. You may find that you would have to move it further back for overheads on drums. I have one or two other videos on the NT1-A that may help you out (For guitar)... It's ok for vocals too... pop filter is a must!

Where is low frequency. Cant hear it.
Im looking to buy this mic, but im stuck between this one and the mxl v88. Wich one would you recomend ?

@LilPaez Depends what you're using it for... I think the V88 lacks for vocals and may not be as warm for acoustics. MXL mics can be great, don't get me wrong... but I think that Rode is a little better in quality and warmth

Would you recommend this over a BlueBird with them being in the same price range?

@MarrB08 Honestly I think I'd go with the Bluebird. Both have great responses to acoustic and vocals, but I think that the Bluebird has the edge

I was thinking of getting this mic too but what do you think of this mic vs. blue spark microphone vs. akg perception 220, i putting through tascam us-800 to record vocals, acoustic guitar, help on eletric guitar, and as drum overheads
