Video Response: Loepsie's Interlaced Braids

I love Loepsie. So, when I watched her Interlaced Braids tutorial, I decided to try it, as I do most of Loepsie's stuff. It didn't quite look the same, as my braids are a bit too chunky to look all neat and complicated and intricate like hers do. However, in the spirit of not giving up (and the fact that it was comfortable as hell), I modified it slightly and made it work for me!

Aah thanks a lot for doing this! I've had some people comment that they can't do the style because their hair is too thick, I'll have to redirect them to your video =) It looks great on you, I actually tried the tight lacing myself but it didn't really work for me like it does for you.

Little off topic here, Loepsie is indeed pronounced Loopsy but I actually really like the way you pronounce it. And I'm in fact 5'8" so not as petite as you were probably thinking ;) Pixie fits me though, haha xD

@Loepsie Well, I'm still four inches taller, so you're petite to me! I'm glad you don't mind the Pixie moniker - I didn't want to make you mad, but I'm a huge epic fantasy geek and I tend to put people in categories as such. Although, you are my very first pixie! You should feel proud. LOL.

I have a few questions if anyone would be nice enough to answer :) 1: does anyone kno if torrin (i guess tats her name?) Lives in the u.s.? 2: how long of hair do u need to do this hair style? 3: what does BSL and the other acronyms torrin uses mean?

@Dolphingirl7787 I live in the US, one of the gals wrote in and can manage the style with Bra strap length hair - and to answer your question about abbreviations - I have a VLOG up on hair terminology under the Vlogs & Whatnot tab on my channel page.

I love it! Makes me want to regrow my thick hair. I keep cutting it now since I got tired of it being so thick and even with it grown almost to my butt I could never do anything with it.

I was thinking maybe you could divide up each pigtail into two at the nape of your neck, for a total of four littler braids. Then, "lace up" with two of them, wrapping the other ones around the whole thing. That way the lacing might look more delicate. I tried this hairstyle today, and you're right! It's very pretty and comfortable.

I tried this style out today with the "tightening" modification you made and I really liked it. It is really comfortable!
