Nigel Farage: Van Rompuy, Barroso worst people in EU since 1945

After a tough night of wrangling, EU leaders have agreed to set up a new authority - tasked with keeping sinking banks afloat. And to do that, the new agency will be given access to Europe's mammoth bailout funds - stocked in a large part by taxpayer money. This exact function was previously carried out by governments. But now, the EU can bailout a nation's banks - without adding to the government's debt levels - at least on the books. It's something that Germany strongly opposed, but was forced to relent on due to Spanish and Italian insistence. Nigel Farage, a member of the European Parliament and leader of the UK Independence Party, believes that it's Germany who plays the deciding role in these talks.

Nigel Farage is the voice of the truth with such a realistic and human approach into subjects regarding the Eurozone.. The rest of thefts and gangsters in the European parliament should be aware that people get to know more and more now their game is coming to the end.

Agreed Europe is not without it's problems. But even despite the costly bailouts Germany has had to hand out, even they still stand to profit from being part of the eurozone. Due to low tax rates on import/export and the ease they can do trade with other EU countries, it way outweighs the draw backs. The bottom line is Farage and his party of clowns don't like immigrants and try to justify getting rid of them by demonizing the EU.

Farage is a product of the unfortunate union. His position is strong solely because he echoes the fears of large number of Europe's subjects. Most of us have a hard time coming to terms with exterior influences controlling national policy. So inconceivable are it's implications, we are at a loss to understand the consequences of Europe's involvement and just how much power has been taken away from individual nations. Europe gives a true image of power, in it's distribution and corruption !

A union between nations in it's origins is a great concept. Unfortunately it's growth was far to hasty. I believe that we should have slowed down the process in order to grasp all of it's implications. Dotting I's and crossing T's as and when problems arose. Too many nations were not financially viable from the offset and therefore crippled a potentially wonderful, advantageous union of nations. We weren't ready for a single currency, but now we have to suffer the consequences.. sad!

The complexity of the EU cannot be summed up in such a simple statement. The distribution of wealth within Europe's banking system is to say the least controversial. I have spent many years working in various nations within this union and have had first hand experience of it's failings. From my point of view, the euro has been a total failure. It has created enormous debts and is assisting in the greatest recession in world history. The idea is admirable, but the results are devastating.

The EU has the biggest economy in the world.. bigger than the US, bigger than China, why would you want to turn your back to it.

Yes there is. Yugoslavia was several republics that worked as one and wanted independence (which, like USSR, they eventually got)
