LOL this looks hysterical, if the three actors in it wasn't enough of a reason clark gable and greer garson shooting death rays at each other from across the table makes it necessary for me to see the rest of this film. seriously, i think the heat in that hatred was the start of global warming. priceless.

@darlingdelovely Joan Blondell is 4th in my "fantasy blus book" I also thought she was superb in later years esp. w / Ed G in the Cincinatti Kid. Was just talking about her today....Only in Horseracing could this occur..,45 yrs After the fact...A filly in Canada is awaiting a race..,her name..."Ladyfingers"..another colt @ Belmont Park awaits one also..."Cincinatti Kid"...Neither of the owners planned any of this..,may not even be aware , Sweet serendipity ! Quite remarkable

@CENTAURSARATOGA i have since seen the whole thing, and while I love gable and garson separately they just don't do it for me as a team. Also I was commenting more on the supposed lack of cohesion between the two off screen which despite the press to the contrary I am inclined to believe based on their performances here. At any rate glad you enjoy it, any film with joan blondell in it is a ok in my book. :)
