February 25th, 26th, & 27th of 2011 brought great weather for the 109th Annual GeorgeFest Celebration in Eustis, Florida. Special thanks to the Lake Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce for making this festival successful! The George Washington's Birthday Celebration, affectionately called "GeorgeFest" is the City's premiere event, and is held during the last week of February - as it has for the past 109 years. This is the second-longest running Washington Celebration in the Country. Thousands of people from around the nation come out and take part with pride in a triumphant celebration of our country's founding Father, George Washington.
