  • Yo, GBB. Love the new series. Tangentially related: Have you seen Xoroaster's channel? If you haven't, it's a really insightful study of the history of the bible and the early church done from an unbiased, zero-sum approach. Check it out.

  • @bromordra Hey, thanks. I'm curious: although this is a really old series, a lot of new people are watching it suddenly. Did it show up as a featured vid in your subscriptions or something? Also, yeah, I'm subbed to Xoroaster. Awesome stuff.

  • @d007ization What you're saying is that you disagree with my opinions about Jesus and his presentation to the world. That's great, but it's boring. I am not interested in your opinion of my opinion.

  • @GreatBigBore And I'm questioning any reason why he would or should have acted otherwise, even if he were divine other than to proove his divinity.

I'm sure that his miracles were considered more than enough proof of that.

  • @d007ization You seem to be assuming that his accuracy is at issue here. As I've explained already, I'm talking about whether he showed any signs of being anything other than just some schmoe. I'm not talking about his accuracy.

  • @595o I'm all ears. Keep in mind that no human could possibly understand how omnipotence/-science works though.

And yes, it is true, that we, by definition, can't see what utopia or any "better world" are like.

You, however cannot assume that the world would be a better place if Jesus had introduced modern morals into the first century (you know, in comparison to the world now :-))

  • @GreatBigBore Regarding our limited resources, overpopulation and the fact that there have allways been people that were poor, I think he was pretty accurate so far. Then again I'm not, a scholar and I don't know if the translations misrepresented his original statement.

  • @bromordra Also, good to know you're subbed. Xoro is a bro.

  • @GreatBigBore No no, this is just the first video of yours about jesus that I remembered to comment on since I found it. I didn't feel like it was worth mentioning it during your Politics & Religion tour series. I've known about it since he was decrypting Revelation the first time.

  • You are never boring, BigBore. You give great annalists of that trashy old mythological book.

  • @d007ization First you would have to define what the "best possible state" would be since there is no absolute metric you can use for measurement/comparison/…

Anyways I just asked in hope for you to acknowledge that you did so I could show you some of the fun things with the idea of omniscience (not as good as omnipotence though).
