  • awesome streamer length-says it from old parts -could you list the things that you used ?

  • I didn't make it myself, but here are the specs from the chap who made it -

Mains input has transient suppressers from each pole to earth.

    Mains filter.

Then via a fuse to an air operated switch.

    Mains transformer.

Transformer HV out to RC filter (high voltage resistor with cap to ground in each pole) via a pair of arcing horns for over voltage flash over.

    Series spark gap.

Tank circuit - MMC metalized Polyprop film caps and primary coil.

    Secondary 1/4 wave resonator.

  • i know you could get tazed for touching it... but if i touch it im surelly tazing myself right? i mean, is it 100% im getting tazed, or... xD im dying?

  • did it smell like ozone?

  • good job, but consider putting a point on the toroid, that way all the sparks are in one place, and you get better visuals. but nice work anyways!

  • thats really cool for a small sgtc

you expect that power out of a sstc or a micro drsstc nice job!

  • Very nice coil !! Is this coil Solid State? What is your power supply?
