@Cr4zyd4wg They changed it because they didn't feel that individual buildings would be good on a console. So they made the current system for easier-to-use base and unit building. I preferred it the way it is seen in this video. And individual buildings could work, play Command and Conquer on the console. It's not as good as it is on the PC, but it's still enjoyable. I also preferred how units had their own colours just like in the Halo FPS games. I don't like how all units are Purple, Green et

Why did they make the other version of Halo Wars.
This one is a lot better, all the graphics and stuff.
And the Base is really cool.

i tihnk that it should of been more like this no bases just like age of empires you can place buildings anywhere not on certain spots and those guys working on the warthogs would be a awesome structure that could be used for warthog upgrades

I hate to admit it (since I really enjoyed Halo Wars), but yeah the demo is so much better than the retail version.
I wish Ensemble is still out there...

I agree. Though there are some things they could of kept from the demo to the game. Like a part in the game where you can have your Warthogs jump over, that'd be cool. And see Marine squads doing pushups behind the Barracks.
