@EffLabels How about this quality? Take a look at how many critically acclaimed male song writers / performers / producers there are compared to women. Even those singers you mentioned have men writing and producing the music for them. Women can be phenomenal singers, but as far as songwriting, producing, playing instruments, it's not even a contest.
Hits mean nothing. 90% of top 40 pop music is consumed by women. Hence American Idol and the radio being terrible.
