Why, when our own economy is falling apart (millions unemployed, etc), should we in the USA be getting further involved in Africa? After decades (my whole life) of our country meddling all over the world, I'm fed up with it. Instead of creating a new military command (AFRICOM) and expanding that meddling further, we should be pulling our troops home and focusing (our efforts, our money, etc) on our own problems. If the military doesn't understand that, time for a serious reality check.
