@katarnlunney, Callista is dead. Luke finally released her from Abeloths control in the last book. And as for the Star wars meets Twilight relationship, I agree 100%. I hate to say it, but its because of Christie Golden's girl mind set. I'm not trying to be sexist, but women can't right Star Wars because they ALWAYS try to force a love story into the mix. For example, Ben and Ves hate each other in Backlash, but then in Allies, they all of a sudden love each other. It just feels so....FORCED!

@FreakDaMIghet I know that they always intended to put them together. I meant that I hope they do a Luke/Callista doomed relationship (& Vestara does return to her roots). It's the idea of "missionary dating." Two people with opposing religious views can't make a good relationship work. It's like Star Wars meets Twilight!

@katarnlunney, Ha....Um....About that. In the latest book....Vestara DOES go lightside! (At least for a time. I have a feeling it won't last very long and she might turn back by the end of the book. I have not finished yet.) And shortly before she goes lightside, her and Ben curl up in bed together. Once again, Thank you Christie Golden for ruining the Characters Troy and Aaron spent so much time making.

I just hope Ben DOESN'T end up with Vestara. She's a compelling character and a wonderful addition to the SW cannon, but if she turns good it seems too far-fetched. She was BORN Sith. I know many people argue that Luke turned Mara but hey get this: HE DIDN'T!!!!! Mara was NEVER a darkside adept. She received basic JEDI training. She SERVED a Sith and did morally questionable things, but she NEVER was driven by the darkside. Vestara eats, breathes, sleeps and lives for the darkside!

Brilliant series so far, Loving the lost tribe and the Sith Vestara. Luke and Ben finding out why Jacen fell, though there isn't a mention of it in Backlash, which bummed me out, though Allies is sure to be good!!!

Been a very fun read so far. Im loving Luke and Ben are having the bonding time they need after Mara's death.
