Additionally, I feel as if I know something of the backstory behind Febreeze, but there was also a shit-ton of Febreeze inside jokery in band too, so I'm not sure if I'm mixing that up.

I think you do. It's based on the band inside jokery. It was sophomore year when you people made me come down to the band room during Ac Lab and Kris and I started taking Febreeze even farther than the band stuff...Yeah.

I always wrote all my ideas into the books (margins, cover pages, whereever there was space). In retrospect, that was a pretty bad idea 'cause all my "creations" were lost when my schoolbooks became useless and were sold or otherwise disposed of. Then again, maybe it was for the better. ;)
