In advance of a documentary called 'The Lazarus Effect' that airs on HBO on May 24th, Bono's Product Red campaign created this public service announcement to spread the word about how easy it is to save the lives of people with HIV. (May 3)

Where can I pledge my $.40 against the political and economic systems of oppression that keep these groups a people less fed, less housed and less educated? AIDS is a huge problem, but I don't see this campaign apart from all the previous, that simply create a well for your money to fall into with no real change on the circumstances that caused this epidemic to begin with. For $.40 per day, these people get to continue with with lowest (by a long shot) standard of living in the entire world.

You are so ignorant. There are other ways to get AIDS other than sex. And most of the people in Africa that have AIDS don't have it because of sex. So maybe you should know the facts before you open your mouth and make yourself look stupid.
