at the people staring through the window
laying in my comfy bed made of velour
while the summer sun steals its colour
the town emanates a cool allure

as the reflections of automobiles
criss-cross in all directions
as the years go by in bars of sevens
the revving of the hood sound more sophisticated
streets get paved, bricks crushed or saved
mom & pops fade to malls and arcades
then a pair of bright eyes caught my attention
curiosity and wonder in his sockets
change in pockets rang when he walked in
he spoke to the owner who greeted him solemnly
nerves seemed to tighten suddenly,
manners demure, the boy left hurriedly
but he walked by everyday to check on me
like a telescope with a token
then one day the owner put a red tag on me
the next time the boy came, he looked heartbroken

cruise into the flats by the post office
but the lift was closed with a note on it
ran up the flight of stairs to the sixth floor
swung open the front door, into his room
set me on a table made of maple
hooked up the cables and flipped on the toggle switch
the electricity tickled, and triggered a flashback
which led me to giggle in the form of a little buzz
with a nice fuzz, a timid finger played a note
two pluck a melody, three strike a chord
actually, I was a monophonic keyboard
one key was sticky, another intermittent but he didn't seem to mind
after all, it was a fateful find for each other
the boy wiped me up and down and he said,
"we can make beautiful music together"

@ShowPureRunnage yeh true, but i dont think anyone else can relate to shing02 style of rhyming, it is seriously unique. he also has to translate most of his work so its just twice as hard. but i feel you, i like your words alliance, thats how most rappers should be now, but thye just beef.
