the reason they didn't pick michael gregory is simple they cared more about his appereance than his talent. it is clear the guy can sing his ass off but american idol or american bullshit i like to call it judges people based on their looks not talent because if that was the case mandeisha would've won the season she was on. however clay akien was boring and nerdy his self but they wanted to praise him instead of rubin who could sing way better. but again they judged his look.
