Wonderful ... This event and its recording have been notoriously mangled by history, but here one does get a real sense of what an occasion it truly must have been. Yes, her hoarse voice was to some degree the result of her medication (Ritalin), but she was NOT drunk. ... Had been rehearsing and singing for days. You try singing like your 16 year old self after 48 hours of straining your vocal chords ...

Goosebumps when she says 'I've sung this song for so many years'

When I was young, I had so many people tell me that I looked so much like Judy. I never thought so. Until after I was married I had snapshots, taken after the honeymoon, and I saw the resemblence. Spears and all other singers I cant even hear. They dress half naked, and have a miriad of singers chiming in. Nothing equals the singers of yesteryear.

I cry at this video so much I hope that one day very soon Liza does an entire show devoted to her mother ,to her mothers songs she should end it with this number. ps all sadness aside has anybody noticed how Liza looks like a young version of Britney Spears here or is it just me I always though Britney looked like Judy and Liza the big brown doe sad eyes or is it just me.

@TheyDontSee They were huh,Judy ounce said that Marilyn followed her all over a party and said he was scared and she said that out of all the people she followed her ,Judy loved Marilyn and Marilyn loved Judy both were seen as tragic vulnerable etc. I think Marilyn was the tragedy but Judy no because Judy had children who loved her either way I hope wherever they are they found that rainbow they both tried to get over cause Marilyn loved this song she said it gave her confidence.
