Just Friends Chapter 1

Ilana's(my) Point of view

Ok so the Jonas Brothers moved next door to me the year I was in 7th grade and our families became really close, Now it's the summer before going into 10th grade and me, Nick and Sara are all the same age. Eleanor is a year older, and her and Joe are bf and gf.
So it starts out one afternoon and the Jonas family is coming over to my house for dinner.

"Hello, come in". My parents welcomed the guests, the Jonas' as I came down stairs and was greeted by the bros. "Hi Ilana, what's up?" that was Joe. Nick blushing as usual said "Hey".
"Hi everyone" I said "Come in" (I was just being a polite hostess, while the truth was, I couldn't wait to challenge the guys at "Guitar Hero 3" after diner)

Diner was nice and the guys and me excused ourselves towards the end to start the game. My sister Sharona and Frankie were playing a game and the grown ups (including Kevin) were just chatting in the dining room.
We were in the middle of the game and it was me against Nick. As usual starting the game, Nick of course let me win but now I was losing.
Joe on the other hand was texting Eleanor while waiting for his turn (those two!!)
Dinner was over and Nick being as cute as he was helped me clear the table, he set the plates in the sink and turned to me blushing. "Hey what do you say we hang out tomorrow night?you know me, Joe, Kevin will drive us, maybe bowling or something?"
"Sure!" I answered too quickly then I remembered, "Oh, no I promised Eleanor and Sara we'd hang out tomorrow, sorry", "maybe another time?" I added. "NO, bring them too!" He said.
"Uh, sure" I answered "I'll call them later"
"Great! I'll tell Kevin and Joe" He said and left the kitchen

We said goodbye to the Jonas' and I rushed upstairs to my computer to check my emails and IMs, there was one from Eleanor:

LuvinJOEjonas18: hey, Joe told me about tomorrow night! Cant Wait!! C u there.
LuvinJOEjonas18: wait!! Is Sara coming?
Sprct94: idk I'll IM her now.

hotleo: Hey, what's up? Cant wait for tomorrow
Sprct94: yea about that. wanna hang out w/ the JoBros??Bowling?
hotleo: aw, idk! I'm grounded remember?! I can only have friends OVER, that's why I was counting on you and Eleanor to come to my house!
Sprct94: oh, I'm sorry I totally forgot. Is there anyway you could come, any way at all?
hotleo: yea, if Michael tags along!

I thought about Michael. It had been a year since Sara "accidentally" spilled to him that I had a major crush on him, while I was on speaker- to which he answered "No! I don?t like her". Since then things b/w us had been a little awkward.

This was hard for me to answer?
Sprct94: yea sure he could come too.

[so Ilana agreed, could this be a start to something suspenseful, hmm, stay tuned to find out]
