Quite spectacular approach and hard landing at Funchal, Madeira on the 25th of December of 2007.
Music is the swedish band Kent with "747". The plane flown was a 737-800 though! ;)

@theamazing39 I'm a commercial pilot, and you know, I can't begin to tell you how many pilots want to live by that statement. But unfortunately, on top of our airline bosses yelling at us to perform soft landings to ease passenger fears, we also have a duty to our passengers to not scare them in any way. So we're always trapped in trying to create a soft but safe landing.
At such airports like Madeira or Tegucigalpa, I'd definitely go for a hard landing in lieu of passenger comfort, though!

@MrPedoShine 700agl hard right bank at checkerboard - more straightforward than Funchal which is turn 'into' the mountains which is where I was coming from.
Add crosswinds to either and they both become very difficult approaches.
