@vivienleigh1097 Peta thinks everything is inhumane except what they do. They are so narrow minded, they don't understand any other side of anything. Sometimes what they do is ten time worse :(
-
@keniki05 They are usually taken to farms to retire on. Did you know PETA thinks thats inhumane too?

The Horses are fine.

@stopfactoryfarming the man said the horse broke his leg and fell to the ground.. i believe if horses break any leg they have to be put down.

The conditions that these horses live in are obsurd. It doesn't matter if the men beat them, the point is that horses do NOT belong in the city. Most of these horses have never in their lives been able to graze peacefully in a pasture where they belong. They are constantly breathing in the car feumes, which causes lung problems, not to mention the fact that they carry around 1,000lb+ all day everyday. They live in a building, and in the end are sent to Japan to be killed for slaughter.

that's sad. i feel bad for the horse they put to sleep. AND none of this would've happened if they weren't forced to pull people in a LOUD NOISY CITY!!!!! its sick what they do to horses there!
-
@stopfactoryfarming he was put down cause he was hurt! duh

has anyone thought about drivers?? People drive like shit nowadays anyway, even if it's out in the country, people have no common courtesy and horses should get the righaway at all times just like pedestrians and Bicyclers

Good for you! Now PETA IN DIGUISE:
PETA, 95% of the 2,216 animals taken into their headquarters in Norfolk, Virigina were killed. PETA's yearly income reaches almost $30 million dollars. This includes a tax-deduction of over $9000 for a walk in freezer at the headquarters, used for storing the bodies. What is PETA spending this on? According to PETA's vegetarian campaign coordinator, Bruce Friedrich, "blowing stuff up and smashing windows is a great way to bring about animal liberation."
My folks live on Park right near there. I do worry about those horses. I can't say I have any pity for the Mercedes. The horses, for the most part, appear to be well cared for. However, with all the shitty AUTO drivers in NYC (I'm looking at YOU cabbies and those guys with the Ferraris!) I just don't think NYC is the best place for horses.
