The old Necromancer battle, and Tower of Babel were revamped. Both were made in the early stages of MKF by JudgeSpear, but with the addition of new characters, and with the updates other old levels are getting in general, I thought this would be a good chance to revamp these.

The Necromancer now is faster, stronger, got new sprites and sound effects. The sprites are from the game Shining Force CD. The sound effects were ripped from the WarCraft 3's scourge unit "Shade". His attack patterns stayed the same though.

Tower of Babel got 3 new Doom enemies I coded recently: Lost Souls, Pain Elementals and Hell Knights. All of them resemble their original AIs as much as it was possible. The level got small edits to place these enemies around and a new skin for the blocks, but the design stayed pretty much the same, except the blood pool now is clear-able by non-swimmers without a life jacket.

  • Cool always did like that boss an level idea. I think he should be like Wario though an not say a line every time he does something. Actually been a while since I seen a boss use bullet hell attacks. Judgespear used to give them to all the early boss's haha.

  • @Tylerburrito I think ProtoMan is supposed to have a larger knockback, and take more damage in the games where he is playable compared to MegaMan, that was his main weakness IIRC

  • why is the stun time when you get hit so long?
