Sage and I are obviously in "parelli purgatory" here. It can be difficult to balance making progress with building him back up gently so that he gets stronger and doesn't go lame again. To be fair, this probably doesn't even really count as Parelli since I'm not standing in one spot and having the horse circle around me like you're supposed to in circle game. You can see how the longer I work him the more bored he gets. Like I said, it's always difficult to get him exercised and keep him challenged without making him lame...

  • Know this is few months old video, but maybe try some clicker training methods to have him learn to go to targets and pick up things to bring back to keep him interested perhaps. Maybe just take him on walks, like walking a dog. We do that with our guys.
